Welcome to Meadow Cottage, Luxury Bed and Breakfast.
A fine 17th century thatched former farm house, set in an acre of mature south facing gardens in the lee of the Mendip Hills, offering wonderfully comfortable private accommodation to guests, furnished with antiques, in a family friendly way. The property was completely refurbished in 2006, removing the idiosyncratic quirks from the plumbing and installing a professional kitchen.
We also have two terraces to enjoy the best of the summer.

The King's Room is a double height, triple aspect room, with a sumptuous king sized four-poster bed, Vi spring mattress and a Hungarian goose down duvet. The ensuite shower room is fitted with a state of the art Hüppe shower enclosure with body jets.
The west window offers a vista of the open countryside. The east window offers views of Meadow Cottage's terrace and grounds, whilst the south facing window looks out over the rest of the cottage's grounds.
The King's Rooms is fitted with a flat screen TV, DVD player , Freeview box and home theatre system.
This room can easily accommodate a cot.

Queen's room shares a wonderfully appointed bathroom, with a free standing bath, with the Dukes room. Snuggly bathrobes are also provided.

The Grounds
We are 1 mile from Bristol International Airport, and completely free of airport or road noise. Transfers to the airport can be arranged, car parking is also available for the duration of your holiday abroad.
We are 20 to 25 minutes from Bristol and around 40 minutes from Bath. The cities offer a diverse range of entertainment, Bristol, with its University, is full of clubs, bars and eateries, with mainstream shopping, at Cabot Circus, including Harvey Nichols and, Cribbs Causeway. Bath is rather more sophisticated with possibly the best shopping outside London, fine dining and antique shops. Locally there are interesting walks, a dry ski slope, swimming pools, opportunities for riding, caving, and why not go and watch banger racing.

Bookings are made entirely at the owners Risk.
All rooms must be paid for by Credit Card , or PayPal , at least 24hrs prior to arrival.
Meals not pre-booked must be paid for by cash or Credit Card prior to depature.
If you wish to cancel your booking,
The owners reserve the right to refuse admission, and will provide a full refund under these circumstances.
Please Note: We have a small pond that is unfenced, which may be a danger to small children, parents must take responsibility for their children at all times.
We are polite family, and we except our guests to be polite also, to us and to other guests. We are a family home.
Airport Transfers and Parking
Airport transfers are £8 each way, and are provided by Chequered Cars, who operate our of Bristol International airport. Or our local cab firms. Please advise when booking accommodation and we will arrange the rest on your behalf. Meadow Cottage may be able to provide a complimentary service some times.
